How to resolve sticking issues during the operation of flour milling machinery

发布时间:2026-04-24 点击次数:

To prevent the finished product from the flour mill from scattering, it must be dried before packaging. However, sometimes due to changes in the production environment or failure to make the necessary adjustments, sticking may occur, affecting normal production. How should this be resolved?

  1. The frame and movable bearing plates are used to adjust the output particle size by adding or removing shims, or by varying their thickness. When shims are added, the gap between the two rollers increases; when shims are removed, the gap decreases, resulting in a finer output particle size;

  2. To prevent excessive damage to the flour milling equipment, a safety mechanism must be fitted. Supported by spring pressure, during normal operation, if non-crushable material enters the equipment, the spring is compressed, causing the movable roller to retreat and the discharge opening to widen. Once the material has been discharged, the movable roller returns to its original position under spring pressure;

  3. Generally, the particle size of the output is controlled by adjusting the gap between the sieve bars beneath the flour milling equipment. A wider gap between the sieve bars results in a coarser output particle size, whilst a narrower gap produces a finer output;

  4. A wedge mechanism is fitted between the two rollers of the flour milling equipment. The top of the wedge mechanism is fitted with an adjustment bolt, which can be used to regulate the size of the output particle size; when the adjustment bolt pulls the wedge block upwards, the gap between the two rollers increases and the output particle size increases; when the wedge block moves downwards, the output particle size decreases.
